How did you learn about the Christmas Bureau of Edmonton?
I have been a recipient of the Bureau in BC so I was well informed when I moved to Edmonton.
When did you first get involved with the Christmas Bureau?
I was a young single mom without a lot of prospects when I first had my son. Someone nominated us one season when we were having a particularly bad year, I didn’t know if I’d be able to have anything for my son that year, and instead it turned out to be the best Christmas we ever had. We used the Christmas Bureau for two years after that. I truly believe I would not be where I am today without the generosity of the Christmas Bureau when we needed it the most. My son’s eyes would light up every time our visitors came to drop everything off, it truly made his day and I’m so grateful to you all for putting that smile on my son’s face.
Why do you choose to support the Christmas Bureau?
I have never forgotten the love and generosity of the Christmas Bureau and what they did for me and my son. The best thing I can do is to pay it forward to other families that need it and continue the tradition of keeping Christmas alive for all. It is the very least that I can do. You are truly guardian angels!

It wouldn’t be Christmas without family, love and the spirit of both in your heart.

I will forever be grateful to the Christmas Bureau for what they did for us in our times of need and it will never be forgotten, it’s my genuine joy to give back to the organization that gave me so much.
