How did you learn about the Christmas Bureau of Edmonton?
I’ve known about the Christmas Bureau since I was a teenager. My family was low income, When I was a kid, my mom needed help, I also needed help a few years when My daughter was growing up. And my daughter has needed help for my grand child while she is going to university.
When did you first get involved with the Christmas Bureau?
This was my first Christmas volunteering with the Christmas Bureau.
Why do you choose to support the Christmas Bureau?
I believe in th Christmas Bureau. They have helped my family over the years and are helping so many today. I really felt the need to give back.
Tell us about your personal festive traditions at Christmastime (e.g., food, gatherings with family and friends, decorating for the season)
Christmas dinner with the family, we don’t really have special traditions. Just a big dinner. Spending time together, catching up, and opening gifts. I am going to add volunteer to family tradition at Christmas.
How would you complete the sentence, "It wouldn’t be Christmas without ________"?
It wouldn’t be Christmas without my family together.

Volunteering for th first time was such a rewarding and fun experience, I definitely plan on making volunteering for the Christmas Bureau a part of my Christmas tradition. Thank you.
