How did you learn about the Christmas Bureau of Edmonton?
I have known about the Christmas bureau of Edmonton. Since was a little kid.
When did you first get involved with the Christmas Bureau?
I was raised in a lower income household. And have received the bureau’s support for as long as I could remember.
Why do you choose to support the Christmas Bureau?
I have when possible donated unwrapped toys when I could.
Tell us about your personal festive traditions at Christmastime (e.g., food, gatherings with family and friends, decorating for the season)
I usually would host my family’s Christmas day dinner. Inviting extended family and friends. Usually turkey, stuffing, cran jelly, buns, my green bean casserole, and a vegetarian dish. Couldn’t forget my daughter’s favorite mashed potatoes with gravy of course! Loved decorating the table. And always have to have a festive wreath on the front door.
How would you complete the sentence, "It wouldn’t be Christmas without ________"?
It wouldn’t be Christmas without kindness, charity and the love for mankind.
