The Christmas Bureau of Edmonton is kicking off our 2023 holiday campaign with our annual Gingerbread House Competition and YOU are invited to join the fun! It’s time to recruit your team, get creative and join us:

 This competition is fun-filled but fiercely competitive so we’ve had to establish a few competition rules:

• Please register your team by November 3, 2023
• Teams can have a maximum of 10 builder/decorators 
• Teams MUST BUILD the Gingerbread House during the competition (no pre-built houses will be permitted).
• Teams may bring an unlimited number of decorations to compliment their masterpiece but make sure everything is edible!
• Teams will have 45 minutes to complete their build.   
• The following items will be provided (courtesy of our friends at North Central Co-Op):

• Gingerbread House Kits
• Icing
• Candy

There are NO RULES where CREATIVITY is concerned; so let the imagination wander and you may be rewarded for it!  

The esteemed judging panel will present 3 awards:

• Shining Star Award - For Best Overall Gingerbread House
• The Imagination Award - For Most Creative Concept
• The Charlie Brown Award - For the Gingerbread House that most exemplifies the Christmas Spirit
