Our friends at up!99.3 are hosting a free concert at the Waterfront Park, Wabamun Village on Sunday, June 24 (six months to Christmas Eve!).

Feature performers are LOVERBOY!

We will be on site raising money for our festive meal program by holding a 50/50 raffle.

up! FAQ’s – for up!FEST

Q:  When is up!FEST and when do the bands starts?
A:  Sunday, June 24th! Radio Tragedy plays at 3pm; 5 on the Side plays at 5pm; then LOVERBOY will hit the stage at 7pm!

Q:  Where is up!FEST?
A:  Waterfront Park, Wabamun Village (NOT the Provincial park).  A 45-minute drive West of Edmonton, on the Yellowhead.

Q:  How much are tickets?
A:  The concert is FREE.  It is first-come, first-serve. Bring a lawn chair & sunscreen!

Q:  What else is going on?
A:  Barry Jay’s & Rainbow Marine is giving free boat demos.  Bring your ID.

Q:  Is there food and drink?
A:  Yes. Food trucks will have food and drink for sale, and a fenced-off beer gardens will open from 1pm – 8:30pm.

Q:  Can I bring my own drinks?
A:  You may bring your own non-alcoholic drinks to up!FEST, but your own alcoholic beverages are prohibited. Alcohol may be purchased in the beer gardens, and may only be consumed in the beer gardens. Please don’t drink & drive.

Q:  Is there parking?
A:  Parking is FREE, in the village (street parking). There is NO on-site parking. Please use caution when crossing the tracks to the festival site, as trains are active on the tracks regularly.

Q:  Can we bring our boat to enjoy the show from the water?
A:  Yes! Please note that the boat dock will be closed for public access for the day.

Q:  Can we meet the bands?
A:  If you win a VIP package, you will be automatically entered for a chance to win a Meet and Greet.

Q:  What is the bathroom situation?
A:  There are ample unisex bathroom stations on all four corners of the grounds.  You may want to bring hand sanitizer.

Q:  Is this a charitable event?
A:  Yes!  The Christmas Bureau will be doing a 50/50 onsite that day.

Q:  When is all this fun done?
A:  We expect the concert to end between 8:30pm and 9pm.
