Job Overview

The Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for the overall administration and implementation of the volunteer program including recruiting, screening, managing and training volunteers.  The Volunteer Coordinator directly manages a base of 900 volunteers and provides guidance, support, resources and tools to those who supervise volunteers.  The Volunteer Coordinator administers and reviews policies and procedures which guide the volunteer program. Working closely with staff and volunteers, the Volunteer Coordinator will support the Christmas Bureau of Edmonton in meeting its organizational and financial sustainability goals including adherence to Imagine Canada Standards and the Canadian Code of Volunteer Involvement.  The Volunteer Coordinator will maintain confidentiality and act professionally at all times according to the mandate, mission, values and code of ethics of the Christmas Bureau of Edmonton.

The Volunteer Coordinator is a full time continuing position that offers comprehensive compensation and benefits package.
