Since 1940 Edmontonians have opened their hearts and their wallets to help provide a festive meal for Edmonton’s less fortunate.

We need you! The most effective way to help the Christmas Bureau is to make a tax-deductible donation, which is welcome online or through the mail or at any of the Christmas Bureau donation drop-off locations during the Christmas season. The Christmas Bureau relies on donations and special events to raise the needed funds.

Lead a Team

Just as important to the Bureau fundraising program is recruiting others to help. If you can lead a team at work, school or in the community, please contact our Campaign Assistant or call 780 454 6074 so we can offer promotional support.

Fundraising Ideas:

* Organize a fundraiser at work
* Make it a Christmas Bureau gift instead of a gift exchange
* Hold a 50-50 draw each payday in December
* Plan a fundraising event at your school, church or service club
* Attend some of the Christmas Bureau’s special event fundraisers

Founded in 1940, the Christmas Bureau is one of Edmonton’s longest serving non-profit organizations.

Non-denominational and accessible to all, we work closely with over 80 agencies and serve over 70,000 individuals including seniors, families with children and individuals living alone. Those we assist receive more than a meal - it’s Christmas with hope and dignity.

For everyone else, it’s a chance to put the true meaning of the season into practice.
